Born from Our Own Need

At Soulcode, Bexio has been at the heart of how we run our business since day one — project controlling, time tracking, invoicing, and bookkeeping all in one place. It already took a lot of manual work off our plates. But as a team that builds software for a living, we couldn't help wondering: what if we could automate even more?

From Idea to Integration

That question led us to the Model Context Protocol. We built a small server that lets AI assistants talk directly to the Bexio API — and connected it to n8n and Claude for our own workflows. Suddenly, drafting invoices, looking up project budgets, and managing contacts became something we could do through a simple conversation. It changed the way we work with our accounting data.

Now It's Yours Too

We quickly realized that if this was useful for us, it could be useful for others. So we packaged it up, added a managed service, and here we are.
